Yesterday I assisted with another VE exam session and we now have 9 new Tech stations and 2 that upgraded to General class. I attended the session at the University of Maine Orono campus where we ended up with 13 total candidates which was a very nice turnout.
I would like to thank Richard Eason AA1PJ and Andrew Sheaff N1YIP for inviting me to attend. It turned out it was a good thing as it ended up being only us 3 VEs for the session.
The session went very smoothly considering just the minimum of 3 VEs for all 13 candidates some of which took the exam more than once and some that tried for General as well once they passed their Tech.
If you are interested in becoming a VE (recommended you are an extra class first), check out the ARRL VE page which will let you know what you need to do.
If you are already a VE and want to check your session totals check out the ARRL VE session count page.
